VERSIV™ Films offers the broadest line of high-performance polymeric films. Saint-Gobain has more than 40 years of experience in selecting and processing premium grade polymers into specialty films to deliver the perfect combination of temperature, chemical, and dielectric performance for your application. We utilize a full range of polymers, including FEP, PFA, PTFE, ETFE, ECTFE, PI, and UHMW-PE.

Range of materials
ETFE E2 General Purpose film can be used in diverse and demanding applications like dry-erase writing surfaces, protective laminates for outdoor graphics, and front sheets in photovoltaic (PV) cells. Non-stick, self-cleaning, and heat-sealable, C-treated bondable versions are also available.
Used in the most demanding high-pressure applications, flex barrier Ultraflex VERSIV™ Multimaterial Composite is an unmatched PTFE solution for the highest flex life requirements and permeation resistance. A bondable version with best-in-class etching on one or both sides adds another dimension to the range.
Based on a high-strength woven fiberglass substrate, this material has superb mechanical strength and flexibility. Engineered for use in wet and dry flue-gas conditions in flexible expansion joints, this versatile product can be used as a single-layer expansion joint or as part of a multilayer configuration.
The outstanding insulation and low friction properties mean Skived PTFE Films are the first choice for niche food, pharma and electronics release applications, as well as storage tank liners and pump and valve diaphragms. The wide product range includes different types of skived PTFE suitable for unique customer applications – like Virgin PTFE, modified PTFE and PTFE compounds. A bondable version with best-in-class etching on one or both sides is also available.
VERSIV™ non-stick release, barrier protection, friction control, and dielectric control insulation solutions are used in the food, energy, medical and electronics sectors. They are ideal for manufacturers who want to optimize performance and efficiency in challenging processes and operational environments.
Used in open mesh dryer belt applications and fabrics where high tensile and tear resistance are essential, TCK Coated Aramid is ideal for moist or wet environments. Extremely resistant to strength loss after flex folding and lighter weight styles retain their strength.
Resistant to failure in high-flex applications, Silicone Coated Fabrics are used in belting projects, gasketing material, and silicone release cloths for heat sealing and welding applications. They can also be manufactured with a grippy surface and can be used in direct food contact.
Our woven fiberglass comes in either open mesh or porous styles. With open mesh, you get large windows (¼ inch x ¼ inch/6.35x6.35mm)) to allow specific airflow through your dryer belt. Porous products are tightly woven fabrics that are lightly coated with PTFE to allow airflows of 5 – 60 CFM.
