Our electronics and communication solutions
Make the most of data and digital technologies by choosing materials with the highest level of performance and long-term reliability. We work with our partners in the electronics & communications industry to create fabrics, films, materials and solutions that always provide value for businesses and their customers and other stakeholders. Our solutions are designed to provide long-term, sustainable value with very low maintenance requirements.

5G mmWave telecommunications
Our SHEERGARD® 5G radome solutions are band agnostic and can house multiple carriers while fitting to any underlying structure. The thin, tensioned hydrophobic fabric reduces signal loss with self-cleaning properties to prevent the collection of signal-blocking debris, snow, water, and ice. Our high-quality modular radome systems maintain signal strength while providing cost efficiency and design freedom.
Our Products

Electrical components
We offer a range of low-friction liners comprised of fiberglass and polyimide substrates coated or laminated with a fluoropolymer for consistent, controlled thickness, high durability, and extended wear performance over millions of cycles. Suited for all kinds of printers, our liners reduce the power needed to move paper sheets over the ink-infusing zone.
Our Products

VERSIV™ non-stick release, barrier protection, friction control, and dielectric control insulation solutions are used in the food, energy, medical and electronics sectors. They are ideal for manufacturers who want to optimize performance and efficiency in challenging processes and operational environments.

Used in specialty applications like aerospace power cable and battery membranes, our paste Extruded PTFE Films offer dielectric constant control, porosity control, and excellent thermal and chemical resistance. Our best in class extrusion process provides the longest splice-free joints and a wide range of colors.

Wire and cable
Whether operating in high-temperature, corrosive, or mechanically challenging environments, our PTFE films, and dielectric insulation solutions provide reliability, durability, and uniform wall thickness. The high-quality PTFE film options are lightweight and mechanically robust to not only minimize abrasion issues thanks to their easy slide, and low-friction properties but also meet low-loss needs in high-frequency coaxial cables or high dielectric breakdown applications.

FPCB manufacturing
Providing an easy release layer, our specialized coated fabrics ensure the lamination cycles of FPCB manufacturing occur without defects. This means that there is no defect transfer from our products to the FPCB laminate and no degradation during the high temperatures of the lamination process itself. They are also chemically inert and reusable across multiple cycles to reduce consumable-manufacturing costs.

CCL dielectric materials
Designing at the frequencies used in 5G requires films with low-dissipation factors to minimize signal degradation within PCB transmission lines. Fluoropolymer film provides a thin, high-performance dielectric barrier and bonding layer between the copper layer and other materials in a copper-clad laminate. They reduce defects during thermal lamination while also providing high peel strength.

Semiconductor manufacturing
Our ETFE and PFA-PG general-purpose fluoropolymer films reduce the release forces during the molding process for semiconductors. This contributes to higher process cleanliness and a reduced chance of defects. Combined with a smooth, consistent surface finish, stability at high temperatures, and chemical inertness, these general-purpose films ensure consistency, minimal degradation, and no interaction with the molding compound.

LEO satellite communications
LEO (Low Earth Orbit) internet connectivity is a crucial next step for the world, our fluoropolymer films, and radome solutions provide a high-performance surface that can be laminated to the structural substrate. The hydrophobic qualities of the fluoropolymers mean that water, snow, and ice are dispersed from the surface while the structure can handle heavy winds for a consistently reliable connection.
Our Products

With a matte surface texture on one side having an Ra surface roughness of approximately 2-3 microns, our ETFE matte films are an effective way of reducing the glare from PV frontsheets. They can also transfer a matte or low gloss surface to molded parts during the composite or electronics molding process.
Radar
Our sandwich composite solutions protect sensitive equipment used in ground-based and specialized radar systems in remote locations or communications towers. The hydrophobic surfaces ensure that water, snow, and ice are quickly dispersed while the structural integrity can withstand high winds. The electromagnetic performance results in low signal loss with minimal to no maintenance to maintain its hydrophobicity.

Satellite communications
Our air-supported or sandwich radome and EM window solutions provide long-term protection for ground-based and specialized systems in harsh and remote environments. The electromagnetic performance and hydrophobicity maintain signal strength and water, snow and ice will quickly run off the surface. The high-quality, proven systems maintain structural integrity in high winds, hail and other potentially damaging weather.
