Based on a high-strength woven fiberglass substrate, this material has superb mechanical strength and flexibility. Engineered for use in wet and dry flue-gas conditions in flexible expansion joints, this versatile product can be used as a single-layer expansion joint or as part of a multilayer configuration.

Product Details 

Used in flue gas desulphurization, gas turbine systems, power plants, and the petrochemical industry, Darlyn & Flueflex Environmental Composites are reliable, low-maintenance, and cost-effective. Benefit from a gas-tight film barrier, chemical and corrosion resistance, and long-term strength retention and resistance. High-temperature resistance is standard, and their crack-free surface protects against corrosive and toxic fluids. Made with fine-filament fiberglass fabric engineered and woven in-house, these composites withstand chemical attack, high temperatures, and vibration – all while compensating for misalignment and movement in ducting. With a multi-laminar construction, they are void and pinhole-free, optimizing the cost/benefit trade-off relating to barrier properties. Compliance includes 2002/95/EC RoHS I, 2011/65/EU RoHS II & 2015/863/EU RoHS III.
