Heavy Belting VERSIV

Created by processing PTFE into coated fiberglass, our heavy belting fabric provide outstanding release properties for the carpet and floor covering industries.

Heavy belting composite material made from PTFE-coated fiberglass

The strength and rigidity of this VERSIV belting fabric make it ideally suited for large belts or those operating in harsh, high-temperature or high-volume environments. Mechanically stable under pressure and thermally stable up to 500˚F (260˚C), it offers great release characteristics. Made up of high-quality PTFE coating on a woven glass fiber substrate, the fabric comes with a range of controlled texture options.

Product Details

The heat transfer properties and mechanical stability of our heavy belting fabrics prevent ridging, puckering, and creasing and ensure even pressure and temperatures for consistent performance. The non-stick surface, guidable edges, and thermally weldability make it easy to use across a range of belt types and applications. These properties help you maintain high levels of production quality over the long term without the need for constant maintenance. The film is also resistant to molten thermoplastics so you can be confident it can stand up to whatever you throw at it. It is an ideal solution for carpet and floor covering applications like LVT manufacturing and padded floors.
