PTFE Open Mesh and Porous VERSIV

Woven fiberglass fabrics coated with polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) that create both open mesh and porous solutions that allow for specific airflows in dryer belts and bleeder cloths.

PTFE Open Mesh and Porous

Our woven fiberglass comes in either open mesh or porous styles. With open mesh, you get large windows (¼ inch x ¼ inch/6.35x6.35mm)) to allow specific airflow through your dryer belt. Porous products are tightly woven fabrics that are lightly coated with PTFE to allow airflows of 5 – 60 CFM.

Product Details

Our PTFE Open Mesh and Porous are expertly designed to provide specialized performance for dryer belts and bleeder cloth used for composite molding. Made for use in high-pressure and high-temperature environments, our solutions provide long-term, high-quality performance. The open mesh styles are woven internally to optimize quality as well as allow for customization to a range of application needs up to a range of 170 inches (432cm) wide. The porous products can also be made with specific porosity ranges for composite molding. This helps ensure that you get exactly the performance you need, including a flat surface and reliable airflow at all times.

Applications

  • Textile drying

  • Composite molding

  • Environments that require reliable airflow
