ptfe coated brown laminate

PTFE Coated Fabrics VERSIV

Dimensionally-stable VERSIV™ PTFE-coated glass cloths combine the mechanical properties of woven fabrics with the chemical resistance of PTFE coating or with lamination of multi-layer cast PTFE films.

VERSIV PTFE Coated Fabrics

VERSIV non-stick release, barrier protection, friction control, and dielectric control insulation solutions are used in the food, energy, medical and electronics sectors. They are ideal for manufacturers who want to optimize performance and efficiency in challenging processes and operational environments.

Product Details

PTFE Coated Fabrics are low friction and have excellent release non-stick qualities. With low energy release and thermal mass, they can also withstand extreme temperatures (-238ºF to +500ºF/-150ºC to +260ºC). Suitable for use in food processing and with a customized range of splices and edging, they’re an integral part of systems where the highest level of signal integrity and product purity needs to be maintained. They are also ideal for electrical insulation due to their high dielectric strength and low dielectric constant, providing excellent performance in microwave and other RF curing/drying applications due to their transparency to radio frequency signals and low electrical loss factors. Consistent and long-lasting release reduces costs from clean downs and minimizes product defects, and they can meet a wide range of space and thickness requirements. PTFE Coated Fabrics are non-toxic, with certifications including 2002/95/EC RoHS I, 2011/65/EU RoHS II & 2015/863/EU RoHS III.

natural premium fabric versiv

The strength and rigidity of this VERSIV™belting fabric make it ideally suited for large belts or those operating in harsh, high-temperature or high-volume environments. Mechanically stable under pressure and thermally stable up to 500˚F (260˚C), it offers great release characteristics. Made up of high-quality PTFE coating on a woven glass fiber substrate, the fabric comes with a range of controlled texture options.

tck open mesh fabric versiv

Our woven fiberglass comes in either open mesh or porous styles. With open mesh, you get large windows (¼ inch x ¼ inch/6.35x6.35mm)) to allow specific airflow through your dryer belt. Porous products are tightly woven fabrics that are lightly coated with PTFE to allow airflows of 5 – 60 CFM.
