Made from a composite material made of fiberglass and polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), SGM Shade Mesh materials are used in façades and shading applications including custom façades, modular façades, architectural umbrellas, and more. The mesh construction allows for more natural light and air to circulate through the fabric.

Product Details

SHEERFILL® SGM Mesh is a specialized solution for screening, shading, and façades that enables lightweight construction while also providing long-term durability and safety. It is lighter than traditional heavy metal façades, requires much less maintenance, and provides reduced energy absorption too. The mesh design provides shading and screening as well as comfort and increased airflow and breathability throughout a structure. The composite material made of fiberglass and polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) ensures that the mesh is non-combustible, low maintenance, and easily rinsed clean with rain. The solution also provides design flexibility as it is possible to add color, can maintain visual transparency, and can also enable a luminescent appearance at night for enhanced drama. SGM Mesh is suitable for structures of all sizes, from shade umbrellas to the stadium and parking structure facades.
