Skived PTFE Films

The outstanding insulation and low friction properties mean Skived PTFE Films are the first choice for food, pharma, and electronics release applications, as well as storage tank liners and pump and valve diaphragms. The wide product range includes different types of skived PTFE suitable for unique customer applications – like Virgin PTFE, modified PTFE, and PTFE compounds. A bondable version with best-in-class etching on one or both sides is also available.

Compliant with common food and pharma certifications such as (EC) No. 1935/2004, (EU) No 10/2011, FDA 21 CFR 177.1550, Skived PTFE Films enjoy high purity thanks to high-quality resins, with no staining or contamination. They provide extreme stability at a wide range of temperatures (from cryogenic to 500°F (260°C)) and chemical resistance that’s practically universal and unaffected by the vast majority of chemicals outwith alkali metals. With extremely tight tolerances due to high thickness consistency across the entire width and length, Skived PTFE Films are used for a wide variety of specialist applications.
