5G mmWave Shrouds & High-Frequency Antennas

SHEERGARD® 5G mmWave shrouds provide a strong signal transmission that is band agnostic up to 100GHz. With permanent hydrophobicity and low thermal conductivity, these shrouds actively prevent water accumulation and dissipate heat fast to ease the strain of complex cooling systems.

Our radomes for 5G panels and high-frequency antennas can be deployed in various configurations to match any underlying structure and adapt to any transmitting or receiving frequency. With a tensile strength of 1,200 pli (210N/mm), they are actively self-cleaning to prevent signal-blocking debris and prevent the collection of snow, water, and ice. We work with trusted partners to supply the market with a complete integrated solution. The TruField system from RFI provides performance, structural integrity, and integration with most radio and cooling systems.

Product Details

Suitable for EHF and SHF antennas, your choice of high-quality radome system depends on your environmental needs, mounting application and frequency range. Thanks to their modular design, they can be easily customized for unique applications. Thin PTFE fabrics can form a pre-tensioned frame to mate with any underlying structure and they are band agnostic. When you swap out internal systems, these fabrics are transparent to the new frequency – instead of changing the entire radome, simply plug and play. Lightweight sandwich covers have the same forward-thinking qualities and semi-rigid compound laminates integrate into subsequent assembly stages for an automated solution.
